Job Opportunity : Warehouse Associate

A client of ours located in Tualatin is looking for a Warehouse Associate. In this role you will be responsible for moving and preparing materials for shipping.

You will be stocking shelves, order pulling and unwrapping pallets.

About the Company : One of twenty-two locations nationwide, they are a leading supplier of plastics sheets, rods, tubing, film, and fabricated plastics parts.

Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.

Responsibilities :

• Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipment contents, inspecting goods for damage, and recording inventory levels.
• Efficiently pulled orders from inventory based on pick tickets and packing lists to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Serve as a sawyer, responsible for operating sawing equipment to cut materials to required dimensions, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including storage areas and shipping / receiving docks, to facilitate smooth operations and ensure workplace safety.

Requirements :

• Understanding shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of equipment and material handling safety.
• Tracking and organizing inventory accurately.
• Careful inspection of shipments and products.
• Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and sawing equipment.
• Effective communication with team and supervisors.
• Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Addressing challenges and finding efficient solutions.
• Maintaining an efficient warehouse layout.
• Flexibility in handling changing priorities.

Pay : $19 - $21 / hr. DOE

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8AM 5PM
